John Conneally, Battalion Chief, Sacramento County Airport System

 Speaker of the Month - January 2012

 

John Conneally has served with the Sacramento County Aircraft Rescue Firefighting Division for the past 20 years in the capacity of Fire Operations Worker, ARFF Training Officer and Fire Captain.  Mr. Conneally is currently overseeing a 24hr shift as a Fire Battalion Chief with staff at Sacramento International and Mather Field.   

 

In addition to his work experience, John Conneally has also served as the Vice President of the Sacramento County Aircraft Rescue Firefighters Association and the Sacramento Valley Training Officers Association.  Currently, Mr. Conneally is an elected “Alternate Safety Representative” to the Sacramento County Retirement System.  (SCERS)

 

 Mr. Conneally has earned a Bachelor of Science in Fire Service Management with a minor in Criminal Justice from California State University Sacramento and a Certificate in Fire Science Technology from the College of San Mateo.
